Hi, I'm CCH Pounder,

I’ve recently met a family of five Mom and Dad and three children. They live in extreme poverty tattered clothing a typical home the father made of mud and leaves. One of the children had an illness that neither water nor sun could heal. We were asked to help her when the pictures were sent we were so shocked we funded the effort to get her to a hospital as fast as possible where within a few days she rallied. The doctor told us that she would have been dead had they not gotten her to the hospital.

I thought Wow her life was saved for the cost of a good pair of shoes! So, I’m asking all my friends and all my colleagues to give to the African Millennium Foundation on this Giving Tuesday to save the life of a child, to rescue a family, to educate a poor one, to house a homeless family for the cost of a good pair of shoes!
