✨ You Can Make Healing Possible
Help Abigail and Joel Receive Life-Saving Treatment
In a small village in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), 15-year-old Abigail and 16-year-old Joel face a battle no child should endure.
Both are suffering from painful mandibular tumors that have left their faces swollen, their speech limited, and their ability to eat or smile a daily struggle.
They live in extreme poverty, in a community where access to even the most basic healthcare is out of reach. Yet, in the midst of hardship, their spirits remain bright — and their dreams remain alive.
Your support can provide life-saving medical care and reconstructive surgery for both children and turn fear into healing and despair into possibility. With every donation, you bring Abigail and Joel closer to the care they need — and the dreams they still hold onto. Thank you for standing with them, for believing in their healing, and for proving that compassion has the power to change lives.
Every contribution helps cover hospital costs, travel expenses, and the compassionate care that can restore their health — and their hope.

🕊️ Homecoming: From Survivor to Beacon of Hope
After a successful surgery and recovery in the U.S., Isaac returned home to a hero’s welcome. The community that once wept for his suffering now celebrated his healing.
But Isaac’s journey didn’t end there. Remembering the streets where he once lived, he chose to give back — preparing meals and feeding children who now walk the same path he once did.
In doing so, Isaac transformed from a survivor into a symbol of hope — a living testament to what love and humanity can achieve when we come together.
💉 Moments Before Surgery
The morning of his surgery was filled with anticipation and hope. Hours before the operation, Isaac’s surgeon stopped by his bedside — offering reassurance and gentle words of strength.
It was a quiet yet powerful moment — the meeting of courage and care. For Isaac, this surgery wasn’t just about removing a tumor; it was about reclaiming his life, his smile, and his future.
African Millennium Foundation (AMF) is forever grateful for the generous donation and expert medical care of Issac, provided by Norton Children’s Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky, totaling approximately $200,000.
✈️ A New Chapter in Louisville
After months of coordination, prayer, and community support, Isaac finally arrived in Louisville, Kentucky — welcomed by a team of volunteers and doctors determined to restore his health.
At his first medical evaluation, Isaac sat quietly, surrounded by specialists who saw beyond his illness — they saw courage, resilience, and the will to live. For everyone in that room, he was more than a patient; he was a reminder of why compassion matters
Isaac’s Journey: From the Streets of Goma to Healing and Hope
When we were first introduced to Isaac, a 16-year-old boy from Goma, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), his condition was heartbreaking. A massive tumor had overtaken his mouth, leaving him unable to smile, eat, or speak comfortably. Life on the streets had already been unkind, and without access to medical care, his suffering seemed endless — yet his spirit remained unbroken.
Then came Michael, a compassionate local pastor who found Isaac, brought him into his home and congregation, and surrounded him with love and faith. Michael’s act of kindness became the spark that would change Isaac’s destiny forever.
Celebrate CCH Pounder’s Birthday by Saving a Life!
Once again, CCH Pounder is turning her birthday into a mission to save lives. Isaac, a courageous 16-year-old boy from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) has been living with a devastating tumor on his lower mouth, but there’s hope.
Thanks to AMF’s efforts, the tumor has been confirmed as benign, and a compassionate doctor in the U.S. is ready to perform the life-saving surgery and reconstruct Isaac’s mouth. But we need your help to make this possible.
Join CCH in making her birthday a celebration of life and hope. Your donation, no matter the amount, can give Isaac the chance to smile, eat, and speak without pain. Together, we can make this miracle happen!
Let’s honor CCH’s compassion and generosity while giving Isaac the gift of a brighter future.
