Divinity Barkley
USC alumni Divinity Barkley has used her Vision & Voice to create AGYA which now impacts the lives of over
300 Ugandan youth.
Divinity Barkley graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Southern California in 2008. Divinity had such a transformational experience while studying abroad in Kenya and Tanzania as a college Senior that she returned to East Africa after graduation and co-founded the Amagezi Gemaanyi Youth Association (AGYA) in Kampala, Uganda in 2008. Divinity is passionate about women's issues, African culture, history, and language. In 2010, Divinity hopes to begin a Master's Program in the Department of Women and Gender Studies at Makerere University in Uganda.
